See the Homebrew Package Manager on your own Mac

Every Tidewell account starts with a guided session rather than a download link. Twenty minutes, screen-shared, on your machine with Homebrew 6 — so you can see exactly what Brew management looks like before anything is installed or paid for.

What actually happens

No installer is handed to anyone who clicks

Mac utilities have a deservedly poor reputation for drive-by installs and bundled extras. We took the simplest possible way out of that problem: we do not publish an installer at all.

  1. 1. You send the form

Takes about a minute. We need your Mac model and roughly how many machines you manage so the session is relevant rather than generic.

  2. 2. We reply within one business day

With two or three times that suit your timezone. Sessions run Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time.

  3. 3. Twenty minutes, screen-shared

We walk through your real package list, run brew doctor, and show the command preview panel so you can see that every action maps to a standard brew command. Ask anything; there is no script.

  4. 4. You decide afterwards

If it is useful, we set up your licence and install the app together during the session. If it is not, that is a normal outcome and we will not chase you with a sequence of emails.

Before you ask

Reasonable questions about a demo-only product

Why can't I just download it?

Because the category we sit in is full of software that gets onto Macs by accident, and the cheapest way to prove we are not that is to never put an installer on the open internet. It costs us conversions and we accept that trade.

It also means there is exactly one path onto your machine — a session with a named person from our team — so if you ever see Tidewell offered as a download anywhere, it is not ours and we would like to know about it.

Is the demo the full application?

Yes. Nothing is disabled or watered down during the session, and we run it against your real Homebrew installation rather than a prepared sandbox. You are evaluating the shipping build on your own package list.

Do I need Homebrew installed already?

No. If Homebrew is not on your Mac, we can run the official install script from brew.sh during the session, or skip that part entirely and look at a walkthrough instead — your choice. Tidewell never bundles its own copy of Homebrew.

Will I get put on a mailing list?

No. The details you submit are used to arrange the demo and follow up once afterwards. There is no drip sequence and no newsletter, and we do not pass your address to anyone. See the Privacy Policy for the specifics of what we keep and for how long.

What does it cost after the demo?

Exactly what the pricing page says — the demo is not a route to a bespoke quote for individuals, and nobody gets a worse price for having asked questions. Volume rates for larger fleets are the one exception and they are listed on the same page.

Still deciding?

Read what the app actually does first. The feature pages document every module and its limits, and the pricing page shows the renewal terms in full before you talk to anyone.
