Send us the details
The more specific you are, the faster this goes. If you are
reporting a bug, include your macOS version, Mac model, Homebrew
version (brew --version), and the brew command that
failed — you can copy it from Tidewell's command log panel.
- First reply within one business day, usually much sooner
- Refund requests are processed without an interrogation
- We never ask for your Mac password or remote access
Getting rid of it is one menu item
How do I remove Tidewell from my Mac?
Choose Tidewell → Uninstall Tidewell from the menu bar and confirm once. That removes the application, its preferences, caches and scheduled update job, then quits. There is no separate uninstaller to find and nothing left behind.
Your Homebrew installation and every package you have installed
through it are untouched. Tidewell never modifies
/opt/homebrew, /usr/local or any cellar
path — it only removes its own GUI.
Does removing the app cancel my subscription?
No — these are separate actions, and we would rather say so than let you find out on your next statement. To stop billing, cancel from your account page or email billing@tidewell.app. We confirm every cancellation in writing.
